November Goals
I love this month. Living in the Deep South, it finally starts to feel a little like fall, with cool mornings and evenings and daytime highs below 90 degrees.
It’s a time when we begin to bring a touch of coziness into our homes. The early sunsets invite us to slow down and be more intentional. Soup simmers on the stove, filling the air with warmth and comfort.
Over the past year, I’ve loved being offline in every sense. It was something I didn’t realize I needed, giving me the space to unravel and rediscover myself. It allowed me to let go of years spent striving for perfection and trying to keep up with how others do things. Interestingly, this theme surfaced each time I considered starting a new project. I kept feeling God’s nudge to just wait a couple more weeks.
As I embrace this season, I am reminded that growth often happens in the quiet, unexpected moments.
October highlights:
I was offered the role of Executive Chapter Advisor to help mentor and coach. I don’t start until November, but I’m super excited!
One of my clients had a big event in Orlando that went great! It was a lot of fun and wonderful to meet so many women I’ve connected with online over the years.
I joined my first program for 2025, a Yin Yoga Membership called New Moon Membership, for a monthly practice together. I completed her 6-week program earlier this year, which really helped me slow down, so I’m excited to commit to my health going into next year.
October felt like a blur due to working throughout September to finalize and run the event live.
I’ve been watching Hallmark Christmas movies all month, and I’m not sad about it.
Ahead this November:
I’m still honoring my two more weeks of waiting, but I’m excited about the things I am cultivating in my life and home.
Attending a book club gathering where we’ll celebrate Friendsgiving and discuss last month’s read, First Lie Wins. This has been one of my favorite activities this past year! I’ll share more about what I’ve been reading soon.
Staying focused on moving my body daily with walks around the block and 5-20 minute yoga sessions.
Keeping up with daily scripture reading and devotionals using the Holy Bible app.
Journaling and meditation – choosing to be still and listen, even when I don’t hear anything.
Finally putting up a gallery art wall in my home that tells my story – something I’ve been wanting to do for months.
Looking forward to visiting home and seeing friends and family for the holidays.
My main goal is to enjoy the rest of the year with no rigid plans, just fun with family and friends.
Thanks & Giving.
